52 Weeks of Color: Electric Indigo

Better late than never...Sadly, this one is a little lackluster, as my RL is hectic and more than a little depressing at the moment. But, it's here!

There's not much in the way of special details in this one, but this is one of my favorite skirts. The color has some definite electric indigo tones to it, and the little plus-sign flowers are perfectly "electric" themselves! I call this my "Ion Skirt," but it's actually called Zarah. I went simple and paired it with a basic tanktop, making it just the sort of oufit I wear on my lazy days off - though my avi pulls it off with much more class than I actually attempt.

I'm hoping for a little more inspiration next week. Or should I say, tomorrow! Eep!

52 Weeks of Color: Coral

Yay! The second week of the "52 Weeks of Color" challenge is here, with Coral. And once again, I'm forced to admit that I just don't have much in this color. Last week, I discovered one of those lost inventory gems to use, but this week I was forced to admit that I...really don't have anything in coral. But I've been contemplating getting this dress in this color for a while now, so that counts, right?

I'm a self-confessed Zaara addict, so I've had my eye on this maxi dress for quite some time. This week's color challenge was the perfect excuse!

The jewelry is also from Zaara, and I mixed things up a little with an LAQ skin to complete the more "Indian" feel of the look. Plus, I need to break out of the super-pale look I usually use...This second picture uses the Kira 2 hair, by the way, hairbase required.

Overall, I think I'll use this look again some time. I love it! Perfect for strolling the beach on a cool evening, taking in the flowers.

Gone Fishing

Spring has come to my little corner of the world. Well, the SL world; winter is finally arriving in my little RL corner. But with the SL snow melting, it was time to give up my sweaters (for now) and switch to something casual and cool. I found this little crop top in {mon tissu} and fell in love - it's so casual, yet sexy!

Hunting through the marketplace for home furnishings, I came across this little log by Frosty Insoo - fishing pole included - and thought it would go nicely beside my little river. So the only left to do (after finishing off with accessories, of course) was, well - go fishing!



I absolutely adore these jeans by Zaara, as well. I don't usually go for distressed jeans, but the pocket watch adds just the right amount of charm and whimsy. Add the Mikoto belt from [MANDALA] - plenty of pockets for those fishing odds and ends, or whatever else you fancy - and I was ready for my nice, quiet day of fishing.

52 Weeks of Color: Champagne

I followed the 52 Weeks of Color challenge the first time around in other blogs. Perusing blogs earlier today, I discovered it had started again, just today! I've been seeing others starting up their own blogs lately, and that combined with the challenge proved just enough inspiration for this: my own blog, and my first blog entry!

I scoured my inventory for this little number, realizing rather quickly that I just don't wear that much "champagne." Still, that kind of made this challenge more fun, and eventually I came up with this little number. Bought quite some time ago, Starz never fails to make a statement.

Later in the evening, I may have had a little too much champagne...But what can I say, it was New Year's! The pose in this one is from LiLau, called "Celebration!" Bubbly champagne glass included.
